Home City

Location with purpose
Data & Location Policy
How city, neighbourhood, map and device-location information support the URPulse local experience.
✓ Clear language✓ Community first✓ Canada focused
Key information
Designed to be understood.
2
Device location
When you grant location permission, URPulse may use device location to improve nearby discovery and map experiences. Location permission can be changed in your device settings.
3
Maps and place search
URPulse prefers its own place and community data when available and may use mapping providers for search, address completion, coordinates and map display when needed.
4
Submitted locations
Event and business submitters can provide addresses and map pins. These may become public as part of an approved listing, so do not submit a private address unless it is appropriate to publish.
5
Safety and minimization
We aim to use location data for defined product functions rather than collecting it without purpose. Do not rely on URPulse as an emergency-location or emergency-response service.
